Description:

The Fire Station Response Sub Areas layer comes from the PublicSafety Database and is part of the PublicSafetyRootLayer. This layer was made from the PublicSafetyRootLayer.aprx ArcGIS Pro Project which can be found at Q\Programs\ArcGIS Portal Services\0-Root Services. This layer was created using network analyst and shows which station is responsible for which areas on the primary call thus dividing the work by response times as well as number incidents. As Brandon Ward made these boundaries, he was asked to take into account how many incidents were in each area, so that the areas were balanced as well. Once the fire response areas were created, each area was subdivided into 2 sub areas, which is what this layer is.
