Service Description: The PublicSafetyRootLayer service is published as a FEATURE service. Because of such there is a feature service and a map image service with the same name in ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Portal. This ArcGIS Pro project PublicSafetyRootLayer.aprx found here: "Q:\Programs\ArcGIS Portal Services\0-Root Services" and subsequent services are built from and contain all of the feature classes from the PublicSafety enterprise geodatabase on the suvgis.spanishfork.org instance. For specific layers within this project see the database. This root layer project was built to contain all the data in one service so that public safety data could be pulled from this service and put into any web map to create web apps, thus reducing the overhead of multiple services on our server. Because of this, default symbology was created for each layer in this map. If there are web maps that need to have specific symbology for that map, a new Pro project and service will need to be created unless that symbology can be achieved in the web map.
